Weekend Wrap up
Friday: Dealt with strengthening cold symptoms throughout the day. Came home for a big glass of orange juice and a nap. Homemade pizzas and Harold and Maude. To bed early.
Saturday: Slept in to continue fighting off cold. To lunch with Stephanie, Day, and Kate. Home for another snot-filled nap. Up for a whiny phone call with Ross. Back to bed for another brief nap. Made dinner with Ross, MattWhite, and Nate. To bed late.
Sunday: Up to feed and play with the dogs. Puttering before going to the grocery store. Off to church. Dinner. Various things before bed. Think the cold is on its way out.
Have a great week!

I’ve been meaning for years (no exaggeration) to ask you if you’ve ever seen Harold and Maude, and if not, to exhort you to do so ASAP, because it’s just the kind of movie you’d like. Clearly I was correct. You may admire my awesomeness now.
I’m not sure how to take that - does something about my personality indicate that I’d love a movie about a teenager making out with an old lady? I mean if it does, I’m cool with that and I loved the movie nonetheless. Just curious.
It was during one of Harold’s creative suicides, and I remember Harold’s mom freaking out and Bud Cort giving this great stare into the camera, and I recall laughing hysterically and thinking, “Valerie should see this movie.”
All that aside, I mean, come on, seriously–raise your hand out there if you DON’T think of Val when you see a movie about a teenager making out with an old lady.
Fair enough.
