Made in Richmond

Friday: Up to nurse the baby. Was pleasantly surprised when the hubs told me he was going to walk to work so I could have the car. Ate breakfast, got a shower, put the baby down for his morning nap. Once he was up, headed to the bank, Trader Joe’s, and Once Upon A Child. Got tons of clothes for the baby on the cheap. Home to play, nurse, and rest. Out again to pick up the hubs from work. Home. In-laws came over for dinner. Much cooing at the baby. Fed the baby again. Read some Twilight. To bed.

Saturday: Woke up from really not sleeping well at all. Nursed. Got myself showered and what not. Put the baby down for his nap. Relaxed and watched TV. Got the baby up again to nurse and get him ready to have his pictures taken by Jake. Had fun showing the little guy off to the camera. Photo session ended when the baby switched from charming to HOLYCRAPIMSOTIRED. Watched Gone With the Wind. Nursed some more. Took a short nap. Welcomed some friends for dinner. Read more Twilight while they played DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS. Nursed again and put the baby down for the night. Read some more. Was awakened at around 11:30 by a very snotty baby. Suctioned some boogers out. Put the baby back down. Went to sleep.

Sunday: Up at 7:30 to feed the baby. Called my mom to wish her happy birthday. Headed out to run bulletins for church and stop by Target. Back to feed the baby. Family snuggle time in bed (I read a book, hubs read the Internet, baby gummed a rattle). Put the baby down for a nap. Took a shower. Had a nice chat with my friend Stephanie who stopped by on her way through town. Church. Potluck after church. Wrangled a fussy baby all through after-church meeting. Home exhausted. Ate a small and quick dinner. Doing some work. Might watch the Oscars. Definitely will go to bed soon.
