It was BETTER than Christmas

baby love — Valerie on June 25, 2008 at 1:11 pm

Everything is fine, perfect, wonderful.

We didn’t see Dr. Christmas. Instead we saw Dr. Head (I think that was it, I wasn’t really listening because I was, oh you know, flipping out). She told us that it was not an amniotic band but some kind of “shelf” that is common and doesn’t pose a threat to the baby.

Speaking of the baby, allow me to show you the cutest face ever created:

Thanks for all of your kind words. We all feel very loved by you, Internets.

Perspective. We have it. The Lord is good.

  1. Oh. My. God. That is the cutest baby I’ve ever seen. In utero at least.

Maybe the baby built the shelf for storage. Just like the one George Costanza built under his desk at work to hold his alarm clock so he could nap under there.

  5. Hullo. Delurking. And…

    Awesome!

I’m so glad you had good news today. I saw Dr. Head with my last pregnancy. She and her U/S tech were super nice.

I love the Costanza comment. I can imagine the baby having a little countdown clock on the shelf letting her/him know when it is GO time!

  8. OMG!! I wonder if that’s the same Dr. Head that was in the Army my ex-wife and I saw years ago at Fort Eustis. If so, he had two colleagues: Col. Wheat and Col. Corn (I am soooo not making that up!) I wanted to ask them where Major Woody and Private Part were but didn’t think they’d appreciate that. ;) :D

So happy to hear that things are okay with baby and y’all! Yay!!!! :)))
