I love Edward James Olmos
Ross and I have been spending an embarassing amount of time watching back episodes of Battlestar Galactica in efforts to be caught up when the series finale airs in a couple weeks. We *might* have spent his sick day yesterday watching 6 episodes in a row. Possibly. Could be a rumor.
You may or may not know that it stars Edward James Olmos as Admiral William Adama. I have to say that I came into my consumption of this show already loving him. Helloooo, Stand and Deliver! A negative times a negative equals a positive. You don’t got a ticket you don’t go to the show. Coooooooooool. Sigh, I think only my brother and sister will care about what I just said. Trust me. Watch it.
Anyway, my constant watching of Mr. Olmos on Battlestar might have altered my understanding of reality a touch. Why do I say that, you ask? Well, I spent much of the day yesterday singing this in my head…
You say Obama,
I say Adama,
Adama, Obama, Obama, Adama,
Let’s call the whole thing off!
Yes. In my brain I am equating a fictional space admiral with our history-making President.
I mean, look at him! That is a man ready to make some hard decisions. He’ll put you right out an airlock, he doesn’t even care.
