Eats for the week! The half-assed because holy crap I’m tired edition!

I almost didn’t do the eats for the week this week because the thought of sitting up to type it all out after sitting up and typing all day long reduced me to tears. Literally. But that’s another post entirely.

Here’s the food, kiddos.

I know, it doesn’t look like much, but it will be more than enough to feed the 2 and some change of us this week…

Monday: I had cornflakes and Ross had leftover pasta because for some reason we couldn’t muster the energy to do anything at all

Tuesday: Chicken quesadillas (despite my current poultry aversion)

Wednesday: Asparagus pasta

Thursday: Previously scheduled dinner out

Friday: Turkey burger sliders

The grand total: around $32, and that’s with the fancy schmancy spices that Ross picked up from Penzey’s this afternoon.

Ground turkey! $2.50 for 1.3 pounds at Kroger. But with hormones this time. I guess we’ll live.

No Budget Buster this week, kiddos. Not because I’m lazy, but because there just wasn’t anything that left us huffing and puffing about. And I’m probably kind of lazy.

  2. Well, I for one am well pleased you did this post, tired and all. Because I am an avid weekly reader! For the record, the first trimester generally SUCKS, but after week 12 to 14, it gets WAY better. I have three and it was the same with all of them. Not that all people are the same, just being optimistic you will have the same luck!

    DUDE, cereal for breakfast is the best.
