Friday: Home for a bit. Off to dinner at Joe’s with some friends. To another friends to watch Batman Begins. Almost fell asleep on the couch. Home and to bed.
Saturday: Up around 8. Puttering until the in-laws came over to help with more house stuff. Lunch at Northside Grill. Nice visit with Matt and Maura who came by to see the house. Nap. Dinner with Ross and MattWhite at Mexico. Trip to Target. Home to putter. Bed.
Sunday: Up at 7:30. Did some work for church. Errands. Home to shower. Took care of the little ones during church. Met new Richmonder Avery after the service. Quick stop by the in-laws to pick up more of our stuff. Home. Dinner soon. Hoping to finally watch a movie in our spacious new family room.

Saturday: Up early to start packing everything we own. Lunch. More packing. Realized the contractors doing repair work on our house messed up our Internet and cable. More packing. Nap. Off to Sears Scratch and Dent to look for a fridge. Made a trip to Home Depot to look there, too. Went to the gym to work off frustrations. Picked up semi-healthy dinner from Ukrop’s. Watched a zillion episodes of Smallville on Ross’s computer. To bed.
Sunday: Up to putter. Out to get lunch and shop for fridges some more. To church early to let people in. Church service. Picked up dinner. Watching more Smallville. To bed soon. Ready for Thursday.
The POD is delivered tomorrow. Pray for lots of space on the street.
Friday: Home late. Took a quick nap while waiting for Ross to get home. Went to pick up dinner. Watched The Eyes of Tammy Faye (yeah, that’s right) while starting the task of packing. To bed late.
Saturday: Up around 8. More cleaning and packing. Dealt with house stuff because that’s all we do at the moment. Ending up having to miss a blogger meet-up in DC because of house stuff. Got to have a nice visit with Matt and Maura. To bed around 11.
Sunday: Up for laundry and packing. Nursed Shooter through an epic seizure. Met some family for lunch. Home for a quick rest. To church. Home for more packing. To bed early I hope.
Think good thoughts for us. We’re in the home stretch. We just need things to not fall apart. Sigh.
Friday: Home to rest for a bit. Went with Ross to Short Pump to see if the Apple store had any iPhones. They didn’t. Stopped by the grocery store on the way home. More resting while Ross made homemade veggies burgers. Watched The Pursuit of Happyness. To bed.
Saturday: Up and off to the gym. Home to clean the house. Left at around 2:00 for another house showing. Met up with Ross. To Stony Point to try and spend my gift card at Anthropologie. Couldn’t find anything I wanted, oddly enough. To the in-laws to visit the puppy and chat. Dinner at River City Diner. Home to rest for a bit. Friends over to play Rock Band. To bed.
Sunday: Up to shower and clean the house for another showing. Fed the homeless. Came home exhausted and took a nap. Loved my husband a ton when he suggested I just skip church and rest some more. Napped a little and then did some laundry. Met friends at Palani Drive for dinner. Home again for more laundry and some puttering before bed.

Saturday: Up around 7. Read a little. Actually took a nap at 10:30am. Shower. Off to lunch at Kitchen 64 with the in-laws. Drove around the Northside a bit. Home for a nap. Off to Costco. Stopped at Babies’R'Us to look at strollers. Home to make ravioli and watch Terms of Endearment. Read a little. To bed.
Sunday: Woke up at 4:30am. Couldn’t get back to sleep. Went downstairs to watch TV for a bit. Finally made it back to bed at around 6:30. Up again around 9:30. Ate lots of cereal and watched lots of TV for most of the afternoon. To church at 4. Took care of the babies during the service. Stopped to get dinner on the way home. Doing laundry. To bed soon, I hope.
Doctor’s appointment tomorrow. I’m a bit gun-shy at this point, so any good thoughts would be much appreciated.
Friday: Work. Home for about three seconds before heading to the Southside to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. Home to lounge and to bed early.
Saturday: Up around 7:30. Puttered and what not. Lunch and maternity clothes shopping with the in-laws. Home for a nap with the hubs. Did some work. Watched some TV and chatted with friends. To bed late.
Sunday: Slept in. Did absolutely nothing all morning. Finally showered at around 2. Church. Dinner at Capital Ale House with friends. Very much in need of an early bed time.

Saturday: Up to putter. Added some items to the baby registry. Off to get haircut. Home to go visit puppies with the in-laws (for them, not for us). Lunch at Buzz & Ned’s. Home to quickly vacate the house for a showing. Wasted time at Babies’R'Us test-driving strollers. Back to the house to shower finally. Off to Cous Cous for RVAbloggers meet up. Home. Took two naps between 8:30pm and 11:30pm. Finally to bed again at 1.
Sunday: Slept in for the first time in a while. Up and off to Loaves & Fishes. Home for a quick rest. Off to church. Got to see Ross’s face the first time he felt the baby kick. Died from the sweetness. Headed over to the Southside for Father’s Day dinner. Dropped my Grandma off at her place. Home to putter a bit and prepare for the week. Hoping for an early bedtime.

I can’t even give you a breakdown of what happened each day because it’s all a haze of leisure and resting, but here’s a list of things done during my long weekend at Ft. Lewis Lodge.
-ate a lot of Doritos
-drank a lot of water
-talked about it being hot
-played what felt like the longest game of Settlers ever
-ate about 487,128 varieties of casseroles and vegetable salads
-finally started reading the last Happy Potter book
-snuggled and nap to a ridiculous degree
-celebrated our five year anniversary
-felt the baby wiggle around some more
-dreaded coming home
-decided to skip church
Now I will do some laundry and get caught up on the approximately 8 million emails I have and try to remember what the mess I have to do at work next week.
Sigh. Long weekend, you were much too short.
Friday: Home from work. Played Rock Band and rested some while waiting for Ross to finish helping a friend move. Proceeded to starve to death. Went with Ross to pick up dinner after stopping at the pharmacy to find that our crappy vet had neglected to call in Shooter’s seizure medication. Came home. Ate. Puttered. Bed.
Saturday: Up and puttered until the vet’s office opened. Talked to vet assistant who claimed the prescription was never called in because they “had been really busy.” Asked it to be called in and for a confirmation call once that had happened. Went to the gym. Came home with still no call from the vet. Called back to find out that they don’t have Shooter’s file on record. Proceed to tell them that he has been going there for five years and that they had record of him three months ago when they last renewed the prescription. Got told that they would “keep looking.” Went shopping for baby stuff with my mother (that will be another post entirely! So! Much! Cute! Stuff!). Got a call back from the vet saying they found Shooter’s record in “some random examination room” and that they would calling the prescription in now. Called Ross to ask him to pick up the prescription. Went to lunch with my mom. Came home. Got a call from Ross telling me that the vet had called in the prescription, but didn’t give enough information for them to fill it entirely, but that the wonderful pharmacist was going to give us enough pills to get us through the weekend. Spent the remainder of the day griping about the vet and sweating to death because Ross was refusing to turn on the AC even though it was 84 degrees in the house. In-laws came over. Sat on the deck and chatted. Ate a delicious, Ross-prepared dinner of crab cakes, tortellini, and cucumber salad. Finally got Ross to turn on the AC. Played Rock Band with my mother-in-law. To bed at around 11.
Sunday: Up after 8 for the first time in a while. Ate breakfast and started a registry at Babies ‘R’ Us. Shaved Ross’s head. Did some work. Ate some lunch. Took a shower. Went to church. *Might* have felt the baby move a few times - Flipper was apparently really into the sermon. Ate popsicles. Went to Joe’s Inn with friends from church. Home to do laundry and to do some more work.
Short week! Long weekend anniversary trip this weekend - FIVE years, OMG.
